Terms of service
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern all purchases of turf products from Cedar Creek Turf. By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Cedar Creek Turf acts solely as a reseller of turf, sourced from our partner turf farms.
2. Company Information
Cedar Creek Turf is owned by Ecopositive Pty Ltd and is proudly Australian owned.
3. Orders and Acceptance
All orders submitted through our website or other channels are subject to acceptance by Cedar Creek Turf. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion. Order confirmations will be sent via email once your order is accepted.
4. Payment Terms
Full payment is required at the time of order placement. We accept payments by credit card only. Prices are quoted in Australian dollars (AUD) and include applicable taxes. If any issues arise with payment, we reserve the right to cancel the order without further notice.
5. Pickup and Delivery
Cedar Creek Turf primary business model prioritises customer pickup of turf products at designated locations. If you organise delivery, this will be completed at the discretion of the turf farm used for your transaction. Liability for delivery lies with the delivering turf farm.
Pickup:
Customers who choose to collect turf are responsible for loading, transporting, and securing the product safely. Risk and ownership pass to the customer immediately upon collection from the turf farm or depot. Cedar Creek Turf accepts no liability for damage, deterioration, or loss that occurs once the turf has been handed over for pickup.
Delivery:
In some instances, our partnered turf farms or independent third-party carriers may offer delivery to your property. Where delivery is arranged, it is performed entirely by these third parties. Cedar Creek Turf does not operate delivery vehicles and accepts no responsibility for the timing, handling, or condition of the turf once it has left the turf farm or depot.
All risk in the turf passes to the customer once the turf is collected by the third-party carrier or dispatched from the turf farm. Delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by logistics, weather, or site access. If the driver deems access unsafe or unsuitable, the turf may be left at the nearest practical point. Customers are responsible for ensuring someone is present to receive the delivery and that the turf is laid and watered promptly upon arrival.
Cedar Creek Turf will assist in facilitating communication with delivery providers if an issue arises but bears no liability for loss, damage, or delay once the turf has been dispatched.
6. Product Sourcing and Quality
Cedar Creek Turf sources its turf from carefully selected partner turf farms. We strive to ensure that all products meet high-quality standards; however, product specifications and descriptions are provided by our partners. In the event of a quality issue, please contact us promptly, and we will work with our partners to address your concerns.
7. Returns and Refunds
Due to the living nature of turf, all sales are generally final. If turf is defective or significantly not as described, the customer must contact Cedar Creek Turf within 24 hours of pickup or delivery. A written complaint must be submitted via email, accompanied by photographic evidence clearly showing the defect or discrepancy.
As turf is a perishable product, the customer is responsible for proper handling, immediate laying, and watering after receipt. Deterioration caused by transport, delay, or improper handling after dispatch is not considered a defect for refund purposes.
8. Limitation of Liability
Cedar Creek Turf, its owners (Ecopositive Pty Ltd), and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the purchase, delivery, transport, or use of our turf products.
Cedar Creek Turf total liability is limited to the purchase price of the product in question and does not extend to loss or damage arising from delays, delivery issues, site access restrictions, or conditions outside our control once the turf has left the turf farm or depot.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Cedar Creek Turf website, including text, images, and product descriptions, is the property of Cedar Creek Turf or its licensors. No part of this content may be reproduced or used without our express written consent.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through negotiation or, if necessary, in the courts of Queensland.
11. Amendments
Cedar Creek Turf reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website and will become effective immediately upon posting.
12. Contact Information

13. Force Majeure
Cedar Creek Turf shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform its obligations if such delay or failure results from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, adverse weather events that affect turf cutting or impede delivery to any address, government restrictions, labour disputes, or other unforeseen emergencies.
14. Customer Responsibilities
Once turf is in your possession—whether by pickup or delivery—it is the customer’s responsibility to inspect the product immediately. Proper installation and immediate watering are essential for the viability of turf. Customers must ensure suitable access for delivery vehicles and a safe environment for unloading if delivery is selected.
Cedar Creek Turf is not liable for turf that deteriorates due to delay, weather, mishandling, or improper installation after pickup or delivery.
15. Product Descriptions and Advice
Cedar Creek Turf makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of product descriptions, including turf species, quality, and recommended maintenance practices. However, actual turf performance may vary based on local conditions and proper care. Customers are encouraged to review the details provided and, if necessary, seek professional advice to ensure the selected turf meets their specific needs.
16. Order Modifications and Cancellations
Due to the perishable nature of turf, once an order is confirmed and processed, modifications or cancellations may not be possible. Customers are advised to review their orders carefully before submission. Cedar Creek Turf reserves the right to cancel or modify orders in cases of supply constraints or errors in product information.
